Materials will be simple
- 4 sheets of toned Canson paper (Buff, Oyster, Pearl, Moonstone, Cream, or any other off whites/greys)
- 1 stick jumbo charcoal
- 1 kneaded eraser
- Vine charcoal in soft, medium, and hard
- White chalk
- Conte crayons (white and black)
- Conte pencils (white and black)
- General’s charcoal pencils, HB, Medium, Hard, Soft
- Spray fixative (NOTE: There will also be a couple of cans to share at studio if you don’t bring your own)
- #1 round bristle brush, #2 long flat bristle, #8 long flat bristle, #8 round bristle (or similar)
- Tape or metal bulldog clips to attach paper to drawing boards
- Masking tape or Bulldog clip, for securing paper to board.
- A drawing board (17×29 inches). Please don’t go too much wider than 17 inches as this will be the width and will affect the model podium-viewing space available to you and other students in the class.
